Third Trimester

We’re closing in. We’re in our 28^th week- and have entered our final trimester. While the baby adds more fat to his baby weight, I’m experiencing the aches and pains of an increasingly growing belly.

We’re counting down but are surprisingly more relaxed and less pensive than with our first, Ayanna. We’ve finally started organizing things around the house – fixing the cot, buying of baby clothes, etc.

Ayanna and I are working on a mobile for her little brother - something simple using Ayanna's favourite shapes mainly the 'circle', triangle and square. It's a fun activity for her that not only keeps her involved but excited about the impending birth of her sibling.
