Come on over to the Universiti Malaya grounds this Saturday, July 14, 2012, for a fun, meaningful day of activities at the Special Needs Art And Craft Day 2012.
Organised by the National Association of Special Education, the event is aimed at providing a platform for children with special needs to express their feelings and to expand their creativity through arts and crafts.
It takes place from 9am-2pm, at the Administration Block, Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya. It is open to the public. Admission is free.
However, children with special needs (up to 19 years old) who would like to take part in the art and craft competition will be charged RM20 (inclusive of a T-shirt and lunch).
Also lined up for the day are a batik-making demo by students of SMPKV Shah Alam (hearing impairment programme), Selangor; the showing of a movie, Miracle Worker; performances and an auction.
