The company this week introduced two innovative products just for parents – the Solid Feeding Starter Set (Model No. SCF860) and the Combined Steamer and Blender (Model No. SCF870).

The Solid Feeding Starter Set is a mini blender which comes with a wet mill and VIA cups which are stackable for easy storage. It allows parents to blend babies food and store it in the freezer or fridge.

The Solid Feeding Starter Set is retailing at RM199 and will be in stores in January 2010.

 

The Combined Steamer and Blender.

The Combined Steamer and Blender has to be seen to be believed. The unit is a blender and steamer all in one.

How does it work? You put your chopped up food in the steamer, insert water in the water compartment and when the water is all used up the unit will turn itself off.

Then, you flip over the container part of it, insert it back into the base and press just one button to blend it!

The tagline for this product is “Steam, flip, blend and serve”.

At the launch of the two products in Petaling Jaya, the media were treated to a demonstration by local celebrity Chef Zam (who was really funny, by the way). Actress mummy Erra Fazira was also on hand to offer support.

The Combined Steamer and Blender really does work and it is fast and easy to use.

Philips AVENT says the product is just what working parents need as it takes the chore out of preparing baby's food and it speeds up the process too.

By the way, it blends meat and fish, besides vegetables and fruits.

The price for the Combined Steamer and Blender is RM399 and it too will only be available in January 2010.

If you watch this product in action, it'll be hard not to buy it. It's THAT cool!
