Bath time can be fun, too

Nothing excites children like the sight of a cute and plump pink elephant. Although the parents and members of the media were seriously trying to absorb information about sensitive skin, Influenza A(H1N1) and how to protect their children, the kids were restless. Only the sight of the Carrie Junior mascot put big smiles on their faces as they squealed in delight.

The famous and adorable pink elephant was at the Bath Time is Fun Time with Carrie Junior event at the National Science Centre in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

Also gracing the event were three local celebrities – actress/TV personality Daphne Iking and actresses Zahnita Wilson and Norish Karman.

According to Daphne, her daughter Isabel has sensitive skin and although she was sceptical at first, there has not been any adverse reaction to the Carrie Junior bath products.

Ooi Boay Khim, senior product manager of Carrie Junior, explained: “Our products contain Fruito-E which is a fruit extract from various fruits specially formulated to be gentle on children's skin whilst removing dirt and grime effectively.”

Also at the event was paediatric specialist Dr Lee Lean See who explained the seven steps of washing hands. She also went through the symptoms of the Influenza A(H1N1) and how to protect from the spread of the virus.

The event ended with children painting T-shirts, assisted by their mothers.
