| Brendish 'blessing' the happy couple, Suzaimi and Zanariah, in conjunction with Dumex Dugro's Peraduan Impian Ceria Si Manjaku Contest. |
Suzaimi Idris' wish was for his eight-year-old daughter, Nur Izlyn, to be able to experience his wedding day 14 years ago. It was a dream that was realised recently when he and his wife Zanariah had a chance to have their second wedding ceremony at the Sime Darby Convention Centre in Selangor.
Suzaimi was one of the eight winners of the Dumex Dugro Peraduan Impian Ceria Si Manjaku Contest held last year. Parents had to think of creative and interesting dreams for their children.
Toni Brendish, Danone Dumex (Malaysia)'s managing director, said, “What better way than to thank our generations of consumers for their support and trust and for making Dumex Dugro a market leader than by helping them fulfil their dream for their child?”
Suzaimi's wedding was the last of the eight dreams to be fulfilled.
The other winners were:
- Catherine Ng, whose dream was for her four-year-old son Ethan to celebrate his birthday with underprivileged children.
- Ermah Baharin who wanted her daughter Nurul Ain Syafiqah to meet her grandmother in Sandakan, Sabah, for the first time.
- Heng Siew Choo whose dream was for her child Pang Kean Ming to visit a planetarium.
- Izawati Jais who wanted to instill a strong sense of responsibility and appreciation for the environment in her son Ibad Idraki. They grew a herb garden at home.
- Noor Liyana Md Noor who dreamed of having a comprehensive library at home for her son Muhammad Naufal.
- Mohd Faizal Khalid who wanted his son Faris Hadif to sleep in a colourful Impian Ceria bedroom.
- Hong Ling Ling whose dream was to have her son Darren learn a musical instrument so he could perform for his ailing grandmother.
