Take one young girl from a small town, put her in a big city with four children, add one butler and one water monitor lizard, and what do you get? Jessie, a brand new series on Disney Channel (Astro, Channel 615) premiering March 3 at 10.30pm!

Subsequently, the series airs Saturdays and Sundays at 10.30pm.

A young girl with big dreams and a whole lot of heart, Jessie leaves her home in Texas to pursue a wider view of the world and finds herself caring for four very different children with the help of a butler and one pet lizard named Mr Kipling!

Determined not to be intimidated by the bright lights and sophistication of New York City, Jessie takes everything in stride and finds that life is full of lessons, if you’re only willing to learn.

Jessie is played by the charming and talented Debby Ryan of The Suite Life on Deck fame. In fact the role of Jessie was crafted specially for Debby, hence their characters have very much in common with one another.

Also in the Disney Channel lineup for March are the much-loved E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial on March 9 March, at 7.30pm while fans of Waktu Rehat will celebrate the start of a third season beginning on March 10 at 12.30pm. Lastly, the remake of the classic fairy tale The Princess and the Frog will be showing on March 17 at 7.30pm.
