Bullying is by no means a small problem or something that will go away. In fact, it is a growing problem in Malaysia as well as worldwide. It is getting more serious and it is being done not just in real-life, but also virtually, over the Internet, through phones and even social networks.
To help combat bullying, ParenThots is teaming up with MPH Distributors for a one-month “Stop the Bullying” campaign.
From May 1-28, ParenThots will run articles related to bullying.
Send in your bullying stories
In addition, readers are invited to write in with their own bullying stories (from their own experiences in school or those of their children / teenagers today).
The stories will be published in ParenThots and the best 10 (as voted on ParenThots and Facebook) will win a copy of Stop the Bullying by Australian author Andrew Matthews. The best story of the 10 will win RM400 cash.
All 10 winners will also be invited to join Matthews at the launch of his book later this year (the date and venue are yet to be confirmed).
The stories will be published every Monday until May 28. The last day to submit your stories is May 24.
