Soda Kids launches mascots

New mascots, new autumn/winter line and even a new song and dance. Soda Kids showed it all off this week at the mascots launch ceremony in Sunway Pyramid, Bandar Sunway, Selangor.

Parents and shoppers at the launch were treated to a fashion show of the autumn/winter collection which surely would have given them loads of ideas for mixing and matching children's outfits.

The Soda Kids autumn/winter 2010 line offers not just practicality but also functionality and comfort. Soda Kids' apparel is for boys aged three to 14 and girls aged three to 12.

The collection is divided into three themes – partylicious, garden-inspired and high school chic.

The partylicious range consists of party dresses, mostly in reds and pinks – every girl's choice of colours, naturally.

For the boys, maroon is the main colour to transform them into handsome gentlemen.

In the garden-inspired collection, it's all about pinks, blues, blacks and whites with floral motifs and ruffles.

Lastly, the high school chic range is all about badges, stripes, collars, coats and skirts.

VOIR Holdings managing director Ham Hon Kit also announced that Soda Kids would be launching a new range for toddlers aged one to three years old in August.

He also explained that the new mascots, Kennie and Sunnie, are aimed at providing interaction for children and to create better brand awareness. There will also be school roadshows to further enhance Soda Kids' brand awareness.

The event ended with the introduction of Kennie and Sunnie who showed off their dancing skills, along with a team of dancers.
